In early 1992, U S WEST (now Qwest) approached Source One about managing a huge backlog of legal data. This data consisted of sensitive records and tracking reports involving antitrust litigation from the early 1980s. Up to 53,000 transmittal records for each of seven regions needed to be evaluated, classified, and recorded. Within two months, Source One had the project fully staffed, the operators trained, and processing completed on one of the major regions.

For this effort, we coordinated closely with U S WEST's Treasury, Accounting, and Marketing divisions in reviewing transmittals and determining record retention criteria. We continued to meet all targets for backlog reduction and our customer was very satisfied with the startup and maintenance phases of this project.

Source One provided administrative support to U S WEST Business Resources Inc., interfacing with legal, security and business office personnel in U S WEST's 14 state region.
